Dr Konstantin S. Kiprijanov
Konstantin investigates the role of science communication in shaping knowledge and technology transfer processes between university researchers, policy makers, entrepreneurs, and members of the public, as well as the role of communication practices in the making of scientific knowledge. He is also responsible for the communication and outreach activities of the research project, such as events that bring together scientists and non-experts to shape possible futures of research institutions, and to reflect on the social and ethical impacts of science.
Konstantin studied History and Culture of Science and Technology (MA) with a focus on History and Philosophy of Science at Technische Universität Berlin. He went on to do a PhD in History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Leeds, UK, with a focus on theory and history of science communication. Before joining 'Transferwissenschaft', Konstantin worked in Leeds as Teaching Fellow in Science Communication, Science and Technology Studies (STS), and History of Science. _______________________________________________________________________________
