We analyse the current state of international knowledge transfer research in order to advance scholarship, and to develop innovative transfer models. In doing so, we create the scientific basis for enhancing transfer practice, and we lay the foundations for an interdisciplinary research field of ‘transfer science’ (‘Transferwissenschaft’).
Our current and future research topics draw on existing research needs as well as on the demands of transfer practitioners. We define new research priorities in a continuous exchange of ideas and opinions with members of the national and international scientific community, as well as with experts from research and innovation policy, and managers of university and non-university research institutions.
