Ready for Transfer
Mai 2022
Ready for Transfer is the student work product of case-based group work from the course Engineering for Impact – Responsible Innovations in the winter semester 2020/21 at the Technische Universität Berlin. In it, Jacqueline Dugall, Sissy-Linh Nguyen, Kolos Töreki, and Markus Frings develop a concept of application for a bionic tumble radar and demonstrate that students can provide important impulses in KTT because they bring a greater openness to finding solutions (Giones et al. 2021). Unlike established researchers, students are more likely to approach problems with an experimental, open, creative, reflexive, and reversible approach and to be driven by curiosity. At best, their work aims at transformative change and responds to a concrete (societal) problem, contributing to necessary socio-technical transformation (Schot and Steinmueller 2018).
