Lale has strong interests in issues related to the transfer of knowledge between science and society. As Member of Academic Staff at the Fraunhofer Center for Responsible Research and Innovation (CeRRI), Lale investigates and develops future scenarios and transfer strategies, among other things. She also works on sustainable innovation ecosystems and their transfer activities.

During her postgraduate studies in Science and Technology Studies (STS) at the Humboldt University Berlin, she focused on the fields of science communication and governance, and devoted her MSc thesis to organisational transfer strategies between science and society. _______________________________________________________________________________
